AF2027 returns to the Dena’ina Center as a fully in-person event, creating more opportunities to connect directly with experts, colleagues, exhibitors and partners from throughout the state.
What is the Alaska Forum?
For nearly three decades, the Alaska Forum has been a leading gathering for Alaska’s environmental professionals, providing technical training, professional development and opportunities to share information, experience and solutions.
That environmental foundation remains at the heart of the Forum.
AF2027 will continue strong programming for environmental professionals, Tribal environmental programs, regulators, consultants, scientists, engineers, contractors and communities—while also expanding the conversations around issues that increasingly intersect with environmental work and Alaska’s future.

AF2027 is broadening the range of people and perspectives at the table without moving away from the environmental professionals and partners who built the Forum.
Our goal is simple: provide the technical information our established participants depend upon while creating opportunities to engage with the larger issues that affect their work, their communities and Alaska.
Whether you’re coming for specialized training, an important regulatory update, an emerging issue, new partnerships or simply to reconnect with colleagues from around the state, there will be more reasons to be at the Alaska Forum in 2027.
Learning Beyond February
The Alaska Forum experience begins before we gather in Anchorage and continues throughout the year. In the months leading up to AF2027, registered attendees will have access to Virtual Technical Sessions through the Conference Attendee Hub, providing additional opportunities to learn, connect, and engage with Alaska Forum content ahead of the conference.
Selected virtual sessions in December and January will explore timely topics and introduce issues, ideas, and conversations that will carry into AF2027 in February — helping attendees start engaging with conference content before arriving in Anchorage.
The learning continues after AF2027 with bi-weekly Virtual Technical Sessions throughout the year, featuring new presentations, timely topics, and opportunities to stay connected with the Alaska Forum community between annual conferences.
The Conference Attendee Hub also includes on-demand streaming content from the 2026 Alaska Forum, giving attendees even more content to explore before and after AF2027.

Cancellation Policy
All Alaska Forum registrations, including exhibitor registrations, are subject to the following cancellation policy.
Cancellations received on or before January 1, 2027 are eligible for a refund, less a $50 non-refundable service fee. Beginning January 2, 2027, all registrations are non-refundable, and cancellations will no longer be eligible for a refund.
Registrations completed on or after January 2, 2027 are also non-refundable.
The Alaska Forum reserves the right to refuse service to or remove any individual whose conduct is deemed to pose a health or safety risk to event participants, speakers, exhibitors, or staff.
Exhibitor Registrations: Exhibitor payments are due at the time of registration or within 30 days of registration. Failure to submit payment within this timeframe may result in cancellation of the exhibitor registration and release of the reserved booth space. All outstanding exhibitor balances must be paid in full by January 1, 2027.
Payment Policy
All AF2027 registrations must be paid in full prior to attending the conference, unless prior payment arrangements have been approved by Alaska Forum.
Exhibitor payments are due at the time of registration or within 30 days of registration. All outstanding exhibitor balances must be paid in full by January 1, 2027. Unpaid exhibitor registrations may be cancelled and the reserved booth space made available to another organization.
Payment for registration may be made online, by phone, by mail, or at conference check-in. Checks should be made payable to Alaska Forum and mailed to:

Registrants with an outstanding balance at the time of conference check-in may be required to submit payment before receiving conference credentials or attending conference programming, unless prior payment arrangements have been made with Alaska Forum.
