Free language assistance
If you need help understanding our programs in a language other than English, we will provide an interpreter or a translation free of charge. You will never be charged for language assistance, and you will never be asked to bring your own interpreter.
Disability accommodations
Auxiliary aids and services are available free of charge on request, including ASL interpretation, live captioning, and materials in large print or electronic format. We use Alaska Relay — dial 711 — for telephone contact. We confirm accessibility with the host venue before scheduling any in-person training.

Section 504 / ADA Grievance Procedure
Any person who believes they have been discriminated against on the basis of disability by Alaska Forum may file a grievance under our Section 504 / ADA Grievance Procedure. A grievance may be filed in writing, by email, by telephone, or in person, in any accessible format, at no cost, and we will help you prepare it if you ask. Read the full procedure here.
You may also file a complaint directly with USDA at any time. You do not have to use our grievance procedure first.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, which can be obtained online at www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/usda-program-discrimination-complaint-form.pdf, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
