Alaska Forum Mission

The core mission of the Alaska Forum is to promote thriving communities through communication, education, and collaboration. Our ability to achieve this mission is made possible, in part, by our valued grant partnerships with the EPA, USDA, and the State of Alaska.

The Alaska Forum works to promote a more productive and efficient relationship between government agencies, businesses, organizations, tribes and the public by:

  • Developing a more common understanding and educational foundation;
  • Providing opportunity for the exchange of information and experiences;
  • Providing recognition for positive recognition for community and individual efforts; and
  • Understanding the diversity of perspectives and concerns of others.

Alaska Forum Programs and Projects

The Alaska Forum, Inc. is supported as a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization.

Alaska Forum training programs and projects are funding funded by available federal or state grant programs from USDA Rural Development, US Environmental Protection Agency, Alaska Department of Labor and others.

We take pride in ensuring that all grants managed by the Alaska Forum operate with a 0% indirect rate. This commitment maximizes the value for our grantors by directing funds entirely toward project deliverables, ensuring every dollar directly supports our mission.
