  • The Alaska Forum provides a great venue to share educational and informational issues. Hot topic and controversial issues are accepted if presenters include a range of information that provides a full understanding of perspectives from all sides.

Submissions for presentations or trainings will be reviewed for eligibility by the Planning Committee. Presentation and training selection will be based on education content, relative information to tracks and availability. Training tracks include:

Posters

Every year, the Alaska Forum showcases up to 20 poster projects to thousands of people attending the conference.


Poster Selection Process

The selection process seeks any combination of inventive, incisive, innovative work that complements the event and adds information value for our participants. Submissions should be high-quality projects worthy of placement for public display and eligibility. Each work is judged solely on its own merits for originality, quality, content, and adherence to conference themes with a focus on educational or information content.


Notification

Poster submitters will be notified no later than January 9, 2026 if their poster has been selected to showcase at the Alaska Forum.

Selected Poster Details

  • Posters should be no larger than 4' high x 8' wide.
  • Posters can be put on display on Monday, Feb. 2 beginning at 11:00am
  • All posters can be displayed through noon on Friday, Feb. 6, 2025 and must be removed by the submitted
  • Posters authors can attend the day of the conference on Wednesday, Feb. 4 and the Wednesday Night Networking Event at no cost to talk about their posters. Posters will be displayed on the third floor.

Poster projects should be current, applicable and may utilizes photographs, literature and summary (no props please) on a poster board.

Films

To submit your film, it should be current, applicable to the conference and typically 30 minutes in length or less.

Film Selection Process

The Film Festival seeks any combination of inventive, incisive, innovational work that complements the conference. Submissions should be high-quality productions worthy of placement in the Film Festival. All entries will be pre-screened for eligibility. Each is judged solely on its own merits for originality, quality, content, and adherence to conference themes.

Film Submission

Films must be submitted with a downloadable online link, CD, DVD-R, or DVD+R format. Agencies, organizations or individuals submitting a film must provide a representative or a written introduction to the film that can be read prior to its presentation. All film lengths will be considered.
Films selected for screening will be notified by January 10, 2026
Every precaution will be exercised in handling poster and film entries. Alaska Forum organizers, employees, sponsors and participating individuals or organizations cannot assume responsibility for damage to or loss of submitted materials. Alaska Forum is not responsible for poster session materials left beyond Friday, February 6 at 12:00 PM. Any materials left beyond that time will likely be recycled or disposed of by building personnel. Please note that compensation for exhibiting films will not be provided.
