Alaska Forum on the Environment

The 22nd Alaska Forum on the Environment will be held February 10-14, 2020, offering 6 Keynote Events, over 100 presentations, panel discussions, special events and workshops.

 

Technical sessions include: climate change, emergency response, brownfields, marine debris, environmental regulations, fish and wildlife, forests, rural issues, energy, military issues, business issues, pollution prevention, contaminants, and more.

 

The Alaska Forum on the Environment (AFE) is a statewide gathering of environmental professionals from government agencies, non-profit and for-profit businesses, community leaders, Alaskan youth, conservationists, biologists, and community elders.  Learn More>>

Green Star®

Two ceremonies were held at AFE 2019 to honor our Green Star® awardees. Five rural communities and 10 companies received their Green Star® Award! 

 

We applaud them for their hard work in meeting the Green Star® Standards and for their displayed commitment to being good environmental stewards in their community and the state of Alaska.
